From Alnwick Castle to the coast and back.
The ride includes the Ratcheugh Hunter Trial Course.

Saturday 17th April 2010 - Fourstones Equitation Event. The venue set up will be for the first of six pairs of riders arriving for their fifty minute lesson with Karen Bell BHS Int. T/SM, a registered BHS coach and chief instructor at Shipley Lane Equestrian Centre near Alnwick. Karen will concentrate on teaching riders to understand how to help their horses cover long distances with less effort.
Sunday 6th June 2010 - BHS Northumberland on the Allendale Estate at Bywell. Distance 10 miles. Very accessible and is mainly on field margins and through woods. It makes use of the bridge over the A69 which has now got bridleway status. It is a very easy ride so suitable for pleasure riders or introducing young horses.
Sunday 13th June 2010 - Alwinton Pleasure Ride. Distances: 18km, 25km and 30km. More details to follow. All welcome. View part of the route via the link below:

Friday 16th/17th & 18th July 2010 - SERC Championships – clear your diaries now!
Planning the 2010 SERC Championships started back in October, and already it looks as though this will be one of the best weekends of the SERC year. Don’t assume the Championships are for an endurance elite – they’re for everyone, and the more entries there are, the better the event. And ‘everyone’ means all EGB members too!
Sunday 1st August 2010 - Hexhamshire Trophy Ride. The group's blue ribbon event. Classes from 80km Endurance Ride, 80km,60km,50km,40km,30km Competitive Rides and 19km Pleasure Ride. All Welcome. Sunday 10th October 2010 - Druridge Bay Beach Pleasure/Training Ride. Come and join us on an end of season ride on Druridge Bay. It will be an easy 20kms (12.5 miles) mostly on the beach but also making use of local bridleways. This ride is different from most of our other rides and is a fun way to wind your horse down to the winter. The ride will start from 9.30am with the last horse out at 11.00am. More details to follow.
