Northumberland is the least densely populated county in England. We try not to tell everyone but are happy to share the fact with our endurance friends.
The Northumberland & Tyneside Group is also the smallest within the EGB organisation but we seem to achieve the most publicity for both our members and sponsors.
One of our more innovative achievements is the ‘4 for the North’ series. This has not only brought on riders within our group and given them a high profile locally, but also involved others from all around the North. It has also provided the sponsors BEDMAX and Classic Upholstery and Foam with press coverage throughout the season. We expect this series to continue to expand.
